Organic Peru Cajamarca

Deep in the northern highlands of the Peruvian Andes lies Cajamarca, a region that has become the gold standard for high-altitude, sustainable coffee. This single-origin selection is a testament to the resilience and artistry of smallholder farmers who balance traditional organic husbandry with the rigorous demands of the specialty market.
This fully washed, Fair Trade and Organic certified coffee comes from Perfiles cooperative which was formed in 2019 to organize small farmholders in the districts of Chontali, Pomahuacca, Sallique, and Jaen. There are currently 219 members. Currently Peru is a top 10 producer of coffee in the world.
This coffee is grown in harmony with the Andean rainforest. Farmers eschew synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, instead using organic compost (often made from coffee cherry pulp) and shade-grown techniques to preserve local biodiversity.
You’ll love how this coffee balances a crisp Fuji apple sweetness with a smooth, comforting caramel finish. It’s a beautifully clean cup, punctuated by a bright hint of raspberry that truly showcases the care these Cajamarca farmers put into every harvest.
